Privacy Policy

The Center for Environmental Oncology (CEO) of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) respects the privacy of every individual who visits our website or contacts us via electronic mail or telephone. Information gathered by CEO is used solely in answering visitors' questions and in maintaining and improving the site.

CEO and UPCI collect data about how our sites are used to enable us to understand and respond to the needs of our users. This data does not contain personally identifiable information.

If you sign up for our newsletter, or request other hard-copy materials from us, we will use the information you provide in the fulfillment of that request. We will keep your information on file so that we may send you updates on new materials or upcoming events from the Center, but we will never sell your personal information to any outside individual or organization.

If you send an e-mail message to us at envonc@upmc.edu, it may become the basis for a future Frequently Asked Question. In such a case, the question will be edited, and all personally identifying information will be removed.
