EARTH DAY AT THE FRICK ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER

The Center enjoyed collaborating for the second year in a row with the Frick Environmental Center for their Earth Day Festival. There were over 1000 people in attendance. Activities included nature walks, music, and environmentally friendly crafts. Our booth at Frick's Earth Day Festival passed out educational literature and featured an artist from the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Barbara Minges. Barbara and Center staff worked with children to create 'Earth Day Flags' made from natural and recycled materials.
