Samantha Malone

Program Assistant, Outreach, Education, and Public Policy Division

Samantha Malone received her BA in 2006 from Washington and Jefferson College. Corresponding with one of the Center’s goals to educate a younger age group and minorities, Ms. Malone has worked as a foster care caseworker and as an intern for the Washington Drug and Alcohol Commission. In those positions, she witnessed firsthand the effects of health disparities on families and children and the importance of receiving proper health education for underserved populations. In addition to her work experience, Ms. Malone brings to the Center a detailed knowledge of technology and marketing, as well as her passion for working with people. At the Center, she helps to create marketing materials and assists in the running of a wide variety of Outreach events that educate the public and health professionals about environmental links to cancer. Ms. Malone is also currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health degree at the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public Health.
